What is Liv

A warm, AI-powered companion for adults who experience social anxiety. A space to think things through, practise difficult conversations, and feel supported.  Liv is not a doctor or therapist or a substitute for professional care.

Liv is for adults aged 18 and over who experience social anxiety and would value a companion that remembers them and is always there.

Subscription and billing

How does the free trial work?

New users get a 7-day free trial with full access. No payment card is needed to start the trial. At the end of the trial, you can choose to subscribe — if you don’t, your access simply ends and you won’t be charged.

You can cancel any time through your Apple App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Because billing is handled entirely by Apple and Google, we’re not able to cancel a subscription on your behalf. To avoid being charged for the next period, cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date.

All payments are processed by Apple or Google, so refunds are handled by them, not by Sparklife. You can request a refund here:

Google Play: open the Google Play app, go to Subscriptions, select Liv, and choose Report a problem.

Your data and privacy

How do I get a copy of my data?

You can export a copy of your conversations and memories from within the app at any time. For full detail on what we hold and why, see our Privacy Policy.

You can request deletion from within the app. If you choose immediate deletion, your access ends straight away and your data is permanently deleted within 48 hours. This can’t be undone. Your account email is kept so you can return in future if you wish. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.

Yes. Your data is stored securely, is never sold, and is only used to provide the service to you. You can read exactly how we handle it in our Privacy Policy.

If you're in crisis

Liv is not a crisis service. If you’re struggling and need someone to talk to right now, please reach out to the Samaritans on 116 123 (free, 24 hours a day), or contact your GP or local emergency services. Crisis resources are also always available within the app, whatever your subscription status. You are not alone, and help is there.
